If you're struggling on the higher difficulties, I'd recommend having 2 or 3 of the bunt cheese guys in your lineup, and the rest be high contact high vision and all 4 bench spots being 99 spd 99 steal guys if you got them. Neon Chandler Simpson and postseason Garrett Hampson both have 99 spd and drag bunting, as does HOF Honus Wagner if you got him, but id use him off the bench since he can play any position and is the perfect pinch runner for a slower batter.
Use guess pitch, I cant remember the name of the one, but when you guess the pitch and the location correctly the location lights up red. Pick the pitch you feel most comfortable with hitting and keep guessing it until you get 2 strikes. I wouldn't use it with 2 strikes, because in my experience the penalty for guessing wrong is pretty high even if you put the pci on the ball pretty good. And when you get to 2 strikes just swing away and hope for the best and use contact swing if you got a guy on in hopes of just moving him over.
Im not elite at the game, but I think im slightly above average and I dont struggle on HOF or legend difficulties the way I used too. But this is still a strategy I break out from time to time whenever Im feeling less locked in.

You don't have to steal fans at all
That's odd.
I watched a YTer who won the first 29 straight but had zero fans to be able to play ths last game.Trust me, try it, you can do it easily!
Thanks man, but as a first timer, there's no way I can win 30 straight, especially with some on legend.
I can barely get bat on ball on legend, let alone do it consistently whilst even on lower difficulties i will lose the odd game.
I come from a game where I was a top 10% player so it is a weird feeling to suck so bad, but I genuinely do and haven't improved at all throughout the year.

I'm halfway through and don't want to mess anything up. Are you able to steal fans, move fans, reinforce fans, etc. indefinitely before attacking and still stay on one turn? Or will that somehow cost you a turn? (I've never really focused on turns much before and what triggers them since it's never really been an issue before this map for me).

You can only steal fans at the start of the turn, attack is the last thing you can do in a turn, if you skip by the attack another turn starts

A 'turn" is triggered when you stop attacking.

I completed this last night, on 6 total turns....its long and boring, but the best advise i can give anyone, play every turn until you cant attack anymore, i had all the teams beat in 3.5 turns...yes that makes more HOF/Legend games, but honestly they arent that hard. It will make you better, by the end the last legend game i played i put up 19 runs. Dont be afraid, its easy to get overwhelmed in your head, but its really not that tough, long and boring yes.

Question. I just lost to Phillies on HOF, but it didn’t end my turn. It’s still turn one and I can play them again on HOF. So I can you lose and still do this?
-
Unfortunately no you won't have enough fans to attack the Nationals, I lost twice vs the Phillies and had to restart each time
-
So I finally completed the 1st turn of the conquest map, now should I steal fans before reinforcing the stronghold or just reinforce the stronghold? Please let me know ASAP and if your wondering I have no problems playing on All Star difficulty it's HOF and Legend that are my problem

I stole fans on all-star after turn 1. I stole them from the 5th team I would be playing on the 2nd turn. To be honest, I don't know if I t mattered or not. I didn't steal for the rest of the map and played every game on all-star.
