Neon is "fine", but...

Neon is pretty much exactly what I expected. It will keep us busy for a while and its good content.
But its also the last TA content for the year. Once its done, its over. Nothing left but redeeming the Finest voucher in November.
Why not add some more missions tot he Neon tracks, extend it to 100, and put a premier choice at the end? That 100 could require us to do everything.
It's a shame they didn't have TA go out with a bigger bang than this
And maybe Finest drop will have content with it, and I will have to eat my words here. But I will be absolutely stunned if that happens.

Why is there no reward between Finest and #1 Fan Badge. Thats some very time consuming work to get those points - and you get nothing but a token badge for it? I don't understand that. Its not like it's a conspiracy or something - it would be a super easy fix. I just don't get it.

Because ppl have already gotten the #1 fan icon( a few diehards had it complete within the first month) they aren't going to add rewards to a path that ppl have already completed.
What they could have done is add a different path with missions and rewards for the teams, but they didn't/aren't going to do that either after a lot complained how big the first ta path was, they basically just took it all away instead.
It was big ,it was great,it was something to have for the whole year, but after it got dumbed down it's been 2 months of complaining of nothing to do, we had it and got it taken away -
Who are these people complaining about having so much trouble with the TA path? I get if you just bought the game a month or two ago....but otherwise, you should naturally make it super far on TA by just playing a little bit here and there...
Don't understand all these "oh no, I'm only at 4 percent on the path!" people

They really messed up Team Affinity this year, no question. The huge All Star week content lasted me a week and I haven’t had much to do since. Yes the programs that come out are fine but they are quick.
The best way for them to do Team Affinity is to have a large program path with multiple cards to colllect. A henchman and a boss. It needs to be time consuming for the grinders and have decent rewards throughout. I always liked when there were multiple player card rewards and then you add those players along the way. People will always complain. But SDS shouldn’t cater to those who want to play less. If their goal is to get us to play their game more, then they need to provide the content that will keep us busy.
Like the OP said, this feels like the TA finale. Finest will just be a card dump and then nothing to use those cards on.

They tried something different but the missions sucked. Just get a [censored] ton of hits and HRs and Ks. The varied approaches of TAs in the past where you could do missions, do miniseasons or showdowns for vouchers, conquest had TA xp, etc. This was great and should never have been taken away.

I got bored with going back to this model around the 3rd inning and quit with the Dodgers at 12%. I was able to get every single card within a week with the 2023 and 2024 model. I just focused on franchise mode since I’m not buying the game again and want to take it out 20 seasons all it did was help me go further.
