Franchise Slumps

Multi-year Dynasty players - how have you overcome player and team wide slumps?
Coming of a leauge title, my team can't get to .500 the following year, mid June. Multiple slumping players.
No interest in trading away my superstars, who are also slumping.
What can I do?

Are you on default sliders? Joystick mode or manage mode? Did you retain your coaches and manager?
I use manage mode and I sometimes get results by benching a slumping player for a while. The reason I ask about coaches and manager is because their attributes apply directly to your players during a game, + and -.

Default sliders, im not familiar with joystick vs manager mode.
I had only replaced my 2,3 and farm coach. Retaining HC and hitting

By joystick I mean do you control the players? I use only manager mode and I don't contol the players. I only set the lineup and pitcher and then make managerial moves in game. Unlikely replacing 2,3 and farm would have a big impact but all coach/manager attributes are cumulative and apply directly to your players in game. Good idea to spend a lot of time sorting through all the available coaches in the offseason.
I have seen good players go into a slump. It's frustrating. I just give them a rest and see if they bounce back.

@KingChuckIV_XBL I use the Dodgers, as though my icon doesn’t give it away, and the pitching staff they came with is so loaded I haven’t had team slumps so bad that I’ve lost a lot of games. When I struggle hitting wise I like to put my struggling hitters higher in the order to let them bat more times per game. I try and get a 3 or 4 hit game or a nice streak going to get that cold icon off them. Once that’s gone it’s usually okay.
