Dialogue and cutscenes

I really wish they would update the dialogue in RTTS from last years game mode. Ik it’s a minor thing but it tends to get stagnant if you have played this mode way too much as I have lol. Also I think it’d be cool if they made more cutscenes to make moments feel more special. Like have some for awards you win and maybe some challenges or things that effect team mate relationships, and maybe even the manager and such. NHL has a killer create a character setup but I’m too ignorant in hockey to enjoy lol.

@CHIKENHAWK1239_XBL honestly, I liked it better when it was straight up play and train. All that stuff, rivalries, challenges, etc are boring to me.

@yankblan_PSN I can def see what you are sayin but I’m an RPG nerd and want as much possible immersion as possible lol

@CHIKENHAWK1239_XBL funny enough I’m an RPG fan too (all I play outside baseball)

That’s my complaint as well. The commentary doesn’t update as each season progresses. We need Ai to take over for commentary. So it feels more like a 162 game season like real life

I think you nail it here, but the devil is always in the details. However, the commentary and the post-game interviews when they happen, are entirely lacking in originality, and sorely absent of relation to the actual events performed in the individual games.
Perhaps worse in RTTS, is a sole reliance upon overall attribute level to the wholesale ignorance of actual on-the-field performance. It reeks of bad code design for customers to have their avatar players perform as one of the best on the MLB roster only to endure a meeting with their manager where their performance is criticized and even worse be demoted to a lower level.
That kind of stuff destroys the enjoyment of the game, and SDS would do well to heed that reality. SDS can devote all the coding talent in the world (and it's huge costs) and destroy it all by having a game outcome carried out that lacks all connection to anything the player has actually performed on the field.
There is nothing more outrageously stupid than a manager meeting where he matter-of-fact says you are batting .350 over the last several weeks, but that there remains room to improve!

@Ktothemarvel_PSN oooh ya that’d be awesome
