Inning 3 in review
-
Inning 3, program wise, was the best the game has been since at least 2023
It also introduced some of the more questionable collections we have seen to date and a clear escalation in monetization

Multiplayer: All that some people ever needOverall Grade: B
-Moonshot was the best program in a while, with fun cards and supported by DQ, MS, and Events
-Color Storm was also very well done
-Ranked program track was the most casual friendly its ever been (for me thats a positive)
-Event seems to have solidified exactly like how I hoped: the casual mode to go in and have fun and work on ranked track (again, for me thats a positive but I know many will disagree)
-Thome DQ/Pinstripe conquest released unannounced at a good time in content lull.-Spotlight program continues to be a massive disappointment and will singlehandedly keep the overall grade from being an A
-lack of medium/large conquests and only one mini season (a colorstorm/jolt/TA one would have been welcome)
-the monetization is what it is. It sucks and a step in the wrong direction, the B grade here is if you ignore the existence of santana/Buxton/Seager/Chase packs. And I am choosing to ignore them
-The lower ranked cards, effectively 2025's version of henchman, being in packs just feels bad. They are dirt cheap of course, but they are in packs solely to increase rarity of rare rounds and Sony's new love, the 'special insert' (of their blank in our blank). But I personally generally like these cards so I hope they stay in game, but in programs where they belong
-Can we not give Lou Gehrig a meta card for his day? Yes, his durability needs to be 99. So increase his overall.
