Like how the CPU makes a half dozen amazing diving catches all over the field in just 3 innings.
Like how you can golf balls at the shin over the wall for mammoth homeruns but square up hanging pitches for a 84 EV can of corn out.
Like how the CPU pitchers throw 3 or more pitches an at bat 3 feet out of the strike zone.
Like how the CPU pitchers throw 1 wild pitch per 3 inning game.
Like how despite that wildness above the CPU pitchers dot the gray, half in half out, with 50% of their pitches and the umps call them strikes 90% of the time.
Like how 80% of the games end 1-0.
Fortunately you can still go play vs CPU on the same Veteran difficulty and rack up the score and stats despite all of this being present in that mode as well but this game feels very arcadey this year.

It is frustrating that the top 10 defensive gems of the year seem to happen every game I play….
