@Teak2112_MLBTS, well, he does technically still have four pitches... according to Baseball Savant and PITCHf/x, he's thrown a cutter twice in 2025.
Interestingly, he doesn't use a four seamer anymore (July of '23 was the last thrown)... but since this card is from '23, the card is accurate enough in terms of his repertoire at that point in his career.
And surely this is unpopular here, but I like the Chase card strategy; nice to be able to buy a high rated card with stubs if you're not the type to spend them on collections. It gives players another option. I don't like to grind... it's not enjoyable for me to use players I don't want to use simply to collect however many random stats before I can start using a card (it's like the MMO's "collect x amount of ginseng root, and bring it to Munin").
Since I don't save stubs for collections, there's plenty to buy good cards without dropping much real money at all. And since I don't lock them in, I use them for a while and then sell them to buy another, essentially only paying a rental fee.
