Stealing

For the past several years, I wouldn't try to steal much. This year with the Stolen Base My Legacy program, I've been trying to steal a lot more often. I wasn't as successful as I should have been for the first couple months of the game. I asked this forum about stealing (I couldn't find my earlier post) and people were saying it was as easy as in previous versions of the game. A few days ago, I looked on YouTube to see if there was a better way than what I was doing (which was the same as if I was playing RTTS). Yep, I found a lot better way of doing it. Thanks to this forum and YouTube, that steals program isn't as daunting anymore. I decided to play a game with a bunch of speedy base stealers to see what I can do with this new method and if it was truly better. Well, I was 37 of 39 on stolen base attempts in one game. I would definitely say that this is much better!
Still, the 27 K no-no eludes me. This game was a 26 K no-no with a pop up to 1B that was going to land just fair, so I had to catch it.

Another game 53 SBs on 54 stolen base attempts. The CPU had to make one of them not dive back to the bag on a pickoff attempt, other wise I would have been 55 for 55!
