Triangle
I know that. But how do you aim to where you want to bunt?

Joystick

Aim the left joystick the direction you want to bunt. Then when the pitcher releases the ball press the triangle.
-
I find if I constantly hit triangle in between pitches I also get hit by pitches more often. Which is just as good as a bunt hit.

No. I use it in Showdowns.
-
@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN If you hit it before the pitcher starts his motion...It'll be a sacrifice. After will be a drag.
-
@theBlindRhino_PSN no it’s called you’re a scrub looking to exploit. Get a life

Ok. I'm confused. I tried this and all it does is move my PCI and then when I bunt it's usually a pop up.
I think I've successfully bunted 5 out of 30-40 attempts.
Now, let me ask this. When you say 'move your joystick in the direction you want to bunt'. Do you mean 'flick' it or actually hold the stick in that direction?
Like if I wanted the bunt to go towards the 2nd baseman. Would I hold the left stick in the 2 °clock position or just flick it towards that spot?

@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN Dude I am so sorry…I meant the RIGHT thumbstick. So pre-pitch hold the right thumbstick all the way to the right (3 o’clock) then at the moment the pitcher releases the pitch press triangle. This will send a successful bunt towards 2nd base that you will be able to beat out….Now it’s not 100%, Sometimes the pitcher will warp to the ball, Sometimes the bunt is a pop up…That’s just the RNG dice roll. I’d say it’s 50/50 that you successfully reach base with a player with average bunting stats, 80% with a actually good bunter.
