Why do we still not have Rays current stadium?

Stadium creator is a mess.
Why do we not have the Rays stadium yet?
Also why is stadium creator all messed up? Has SDS addressed it at all?

Nope. Because that would have taken effort. The devs were fine with releasing a 70% completed game.
Plus, it's been a few weeks since launch and they haven't put out any noteworthy updates to fix even one thing we've been asking for.

Meh…It’s one year then they’re back in the Trop. Probably not worth the cost.

The owner doesn't want his team playing in Tampa any longer. He's pretty much on record with that view and I doubt very seriously he's willing to sell his majority stake in the team either. He's looked at the spreadsheet and concluded that the attendance figures don't provide his team their best chance at maximizing their team value.
The Rays are at the bottom of MLB team values. The reason is the historic lack of attendance and sub-standard TV contract terms. Add in the lack of area appeal relative other large market teams, and the ability to draw high level free agents is likewise more difficult.
The vote by the local government to promise funds for repair is empty in two measures. First, Tropicana Field was designed as an indoor only venue. It's been fully exposed to the weather for three months now. That has caused significant additional damage to what was experienced during the hurricane. It is likely true it would cost less to demolish Tropicana Field than to try to salvage it. Second, the local government considers the Rays owner dishonest and don't want to deal with him and are already on public record as pressuring MLB to "force" Stu Sternberg to sell his stake in the team.
It's a divorce of the first order and Sternberg owns the team. He's going to get his way and leave Tampa.

Well, you can't make the announcement a month or two before launch that you are gonna be playing somewhere else and expect it to be put in, hell the A's gave them 5 months and that was only bare bones.

@PriorFir4383355_XBL except they still have a lease to honour so they’ll be back at the Trop until they move to another stadium and/or city.
