25 gives 2018 vibes

The late weak input and early weak input is dominating. I just got 4 perfect perfect outs and 2 good good balls crushed to the warning track down by a lot of runs to a BRONZE pitcher. With a whole diamond squad??? Please fix this. The inputs are not good in this game. I haven’t had these issues in years. You guys are capable of better than this you’ve showed us better than this.

I was hoping for a great game this year being next gen only… this game plays like dookie… it’s terrible
-
What year was it where they completely overhauled the hitting engine because the prior year's game's contact all felt scripted? Yeah, it feels like that prior year. Every time you touch the ball it feels like there's only a handful of possible outcomes and none of it feels natural. It's not a horrible game and certainly not the worst ever, but it does feel like several steps backwards.

As long as I don’t have to pitch 200 innings with an 85 babe Ruth or hit two doubles with Daniel Nava. nothing will give me 18 vibes

Quit bringing of that Nava card those memories need to remain deep in the depth of mind where they belong

@Jcassaro44 Don't forget FOUR hits in a game with a specific bronze card. And I think they are just referring to the gameplay itself. Pretty sure everyone agrees that '18 was, without question, the worst year of DD. If you didn't hate the endless brutal grinding with horrible cards, you sure hated the hats.

I didn't mind most of the grinds for the Immortals, they were the best cards in the game. But they should have started sooner, especially the grinds for Billy Wagner and Goose. Those would kill your sanity, I gave up on them because it was way way too much.
At least this year with the massive TA grinds, they're letting you do it from the very beginning of the season.
And the Nava mission was nothing for me, took me 6 0r 7 games to complete. The Ryan Hannigan mission, made me want to cry. Took me over 60 games to get a double and 2 RBIs in the same game with him.

Nava is the reason why I will never be mad at the reason moments exist in this game.

This is the most valid reasoning for moments on this forum.
There are people that started playing in 21 and never knew the torment

Was '18 the "don't throw a fastball" era? and the Ryan Schimpf era?

Yes. Slow pitch speeds so no fastballs, just spam off speed low to see who chases more often… and the inner PCI area not really scaling well with the outer PCI area so a large PCI (based on contact and vision at the time, I believe, they did change it since then) typically meant the inner PCI area didn’t get much bigger but the outer PCI area did so high contact/vision just meant a lot more okay/weak contact resulting in low vision/contact + high power hitters being insanely good compared to players that were high in all of vision/contact/power.
