Can anyone explain?

Did people fail simple math even when the math is right in front of them?
I’m trying to understand why people post at quicksell value, or even under. I literally do not understand the logic behind this….

It’s new math
You can add to the question: why do people post sale bids lower the one stub from the lowest bid?
Answer for both - people like shooting themselves in the foot...no, not literally.

It has nothing to do with bad math. It’s lacking knowledge to how the market works and the tax system. You never get taxed on quick sell, so honestly, you should never put anything on the market that is 11% or less more than the quick sell value (since that value taxed at 10% would be less than quick sell).
I just don’t think people know.

@JDHalfrack_PSN how do people not know when there’s literally a message that pops up when you go to sell things?
-
@KingD234443_XBL they don’t know what that means, is what I mean. They see the message and either ignore it, or don’t understand it, or don’t care.
Hearing you’re getting taxed 10% doesn’t mean anything to anyone. They just I know they’re getting money.
Also, I teach middle school. If it’s any 10-14 year old, they probably aren’t reading a pop up… it’s annoying as [censored].
