Question about Zone PCI icon

I'm still trying to learn Zone hitting and saw a youtuber say that use the 'Altitude' PCI icon to hit more HRs.
Is that true? I thought the icons were just for display and didnt have a bearing on the PCI. I am using the batter icon as someone here suggested to me.
Also, is it recommended for the PCI icon to disappear before the pitch or keep it displayed?

The visual type of PCI you use doesn’t have any impact on the outcomes of your swings
It’s all personal preference

I personally only use the inner pci with no center at all. I find it distracting and it’s easier for me to use as a target. I had been directional since baseball video games started and this year I ripped the bandaid off. So much more fun.
