Equipment not showing attributes
-
None of the equipment is showing any attributes. For instance the Babe Ruth bobble head in Rituals showed +8 Power and +8 contact in previous games now it shows nothing along with every other piece of equipment. Am I missing something ?
-
Maybe they have no attributes now? Have not played RTTS yet, but I did notice missing attributes.
-
I think it is Silver is 2% boost to related attributes (hitting, pitching, fielding, and/or baserunning), Gold is 3%, and Diamond is 4%...For example gold cleats is +3% to baserunning and pitching attributes.

Who is the sds moron that moved this to the market forum? It's not a market question.

Equipment no longer provides points to increase attributes. All the equipment does now is boost your performance level on the field when the perks the equipment is assigned to are actually activated during the game, and even then, the boost is 6% for diamond level equipment, 4% for gold level equipment, and 2% for silver level equipment.
All equipment is equal in this setup. So, there is no "extra" value in one type of diamond equipment over another.
The only way you can increase your actual attribute levels is to earn points and/or tokens during a game. You earn the points via making good plays, but you can also lose some points within a single game by making bad plays. There is one other way to earn points, as well as direct tokens, and that is through the in-game challenges that may pop up from time to time.
Once a token is awarded via a challenge successfully met, it is yours and cannot be taken away. However, say you earn 100 points for hitting a homer. You can also lose 5 points for making a bad decision, like getting thrown out trying to advance an extra base. So, until the game is over, you really don't know your final tally of points earned from that game.
When the game ends, one of the post game screen menus that pop up shows your total points tally, and rapidly converts those points to tokens at a ratio of 100 points to one token. Any remainder points below 100 are put into a protected points bank and will not be deducted by bad plays made in a subsequent game.
You can choose to bank your tokens or immediately use them to boost attributes in any sub-category you choose to boost.
In terms of perks, you earn then again through making good plays on the field. From time to time you will see a message during the game that you unlocked a perk. You can earn all perks in the game, and each perk has about eight levels of advancement with each perk. Each advancement boosts the power of that perk in terms of enhancing your baseline attribute level. Each advancement requires a specified payment of tokens.
So tokens boosts individual attribute sub-categories, which in turn updates eventually your overall attribute. Tokens also boosts existing earned perks provided you use the tokens to promote the perk. Finally, equipment can only boost performance level during a game when the perks associated with the equipment are activated in the game, and the boosts are 6% for diamond equipment, 4% for gold, and 2% for silver.

Thanks for the help I appreciate it

I have to correct a mistake in what I wrote earlier. There is a third way to earn tokens and increase attributes -- the training sessions that are made available on off days between games in the regular season. Some of the training sessions will not only boost a single sub-attribute by two points, but can also earn two tokens. So, these training sessions can make a difference.
