Start a RTTS player with someone already in the MLB

I think it would be nice to add, on The Show 25, where you can create a RTTS player as a current MLB player. For instance, You could choose to start the RTTS as Mike Trout, Freddie Freeman, Shohei Ohtani, etc. I think it would be fun to choose any player and take over in their shoes. I just thought of this idea because I play Madden and they have an option to start as a current player. Anywho, this is my idea.

No definitely not because then it's not RTTS anymore plus trout and Ohtani have been in the majors for a while now so it wouldn't work

You can do that now. All you do is replicate the player's look, name, position(s), and uniform number. Then, you play the player and see if you can achieve the same or better performance metrics.

Do you honestly not know that you create the physical look, preferred uniform number, name, and desired positions of your RTTS avatar player? Because if you do not know that, then I suggest you look into the game and determine how.
Given you can do this, and more, you can manually create an avatar replication of any historic player and then play that player.
