Halloweek program really a downer at the end of this season.

@xRatedGProdigyx_PSN >The program was random but it was still better than last year's "Trick" and "Treat" programs. At least we had a clear understanding of what needed done in '24.
Not for the first couple of days, though. We didn't know for sure about the showdown being mandatory until later in the week. Actually the last day.
When the program was fully released, everyone knew what needed to be done.
To this day I still don't know what needs to be done with the Treat program.
-
The trend late in the season to make everything mandatory is awful, but this program was still better than anything in s1 or s2. It was effectively 11 cards.
-
I thought it was well put together, tbh.
I don't even like Halloween the holiday anymore. When I was a kid, it was fun.
Making Showdown mandatory was the only misstep, imo.
Incredibly, I haven't even used the Vlad card! Too many OF's atm! -

But having the conquest only 1 point makes it sort of useless.
I thought the same thing, but didn't we get 2 or 3 points via "Vouchers" for capturing strongholds? So, it was really more than 1 point.
I agree with your overall point... kind of disappointing...

I really felt the Halloweek program could have been much better than it was. It started out great the first couple of days. But having the conquest only 1 point makes it sort of useless. And making the showdown mandatory was really unnecessary. If SDS had made the conquest and the showdown 5 points. it would have been much better. Everyone says the showdown is easy. Well, yeah, if you like to play them. I don't. I've tried it more than once and so far, no luck.
I keep hoping SDS will do something to fix this thing. It's really puts a downer on the end of Season 3.
Well, if you haven't completed it yet; you'll want to complete it before next Fri. It's part of the Season 4 Head Start.
-
And how do you know that it is? They haven't said anything yet
-
@sbchamps17_NSW In-game schedule updated on Wednesday lists the five requirements for head start rewards. Halloweek Program, Yankees vs Dodgers Program, Career Tribute Program, 30 OOP player collection (99 Michael Lorenzen reward), and 30 Finest player collection (99 Cody Bellinger reward).
-
@beatlesnews_PSN 16 points came from conquest. 5 vouchers x 3 points each = 15 + 1 point for finishing entire map.
-
But will we actually get head start rewards this time?
Going into Season 3 they said the same thing and then we got absolutely nothing for head start rewards.

Don't see it on my app

LOL, people wanna cry about not being alerted about a pack that contains nothing, but cant even look at a schedule to see what's upcoming on the game.

It's not on my schedule on the app, all the schedule says is when season 4 comes out doesn't say anything about what you have to do to get the head start reward

I know you're on a road trip right now and can't check your console. But you shouldn't rely on the app to be up to date with that type of info.

I'll see if I can get on tonight sometime because I do want to play some. I finished all the required stuff on my 2nd account but not on my main account

Yeah, I hate the the showdown is required for the Halloween program. Thought I’d give it a try, as I avoid Shiwdowns at all costs. However, with it being a “head start” program for season 4, figured what the heck
Made it as far as Burnett. I knew I was in trouble when my 3 hole hitter (Lindor) hit into a perfect/perfect 100 mph exit velocity 4-6-3 DP. Anyway, I’m one and done with this. And swearing off Showdowns (again).
I have the collections done for a head start. Unfortunately, two of the three programs I haven’t finished are part of head start bonus. I’m unable to finish the Moments for the Milestone program. (Despite hours of trying).
Oh well… play your way right?

@dbub_PSN Season 3 head start rewards were 60,000 XP and 6 BiaH packs. And as the person that discovered Craig Biggio and Hank Aaron on the first night, yes, we did receive them.
No you are mistaken. Biggio and Aaron were Season 2. I was talking about our current Season 3 with Musial, Pedro, and Mantle.
I never played Season 1 so I obviously didn't get any headstart rewards for Season 2.
But I completed everything to get ready for Season 3 and don't remember receiving anything.

No, I’m not. Biggio and Aaron were the first season 3 XP reward path, which occurred after season 2. They were the boss rewards and the head start rewards from season 2 progress counted towards them (up to 60,000 XP). You can still see if you qualified for them and what you got within diamond dynasty by going to the season screen in the top right from any diamond dynasty menu (pressing square on PS).
Musial, Martinez, and Mantle (who I also discovered) were the second/current season 3 XP reward path and there wasn’t any head start rewards because those were already applied on the first season 3 XP reward path. They stated before this reward path started that it wouldn’t have additional rewards. Now the in-game schedule screen states what season 3 progress is required to earn season 4 head start rewards.

Ok. My bad. You're right. I guess this Season has been so long I literally can't believe Biggio/Aaron were Season 3.
