it's not like pitching to betts with nestor is any better of a scenario than pitching to freeman with nestor
Nestor also threw a fastball inside that wasn't really a meatball down the middle, freddie even said after the game he was guessing that spot.
On top of that Freeman was seemingly injured and sitting out every other game in the nlcs...nobody would've known he is prime barry bonds this week
if nestor got him out nobody would be saying anything about bringing cortes in

I'd also say, most people prob thought moving stanton down and jazz up for game 4 wasn't the best idea...clearly boone was trying to break up the lefties...but I'd prob still do that and maybe put stanton at 3 and judge at 5
But if they hold on to win nobody is gonna 2nd guess that move, analysts will prob be praising it because everyone knows the outcome when they analyze things
