For 100 starts I can see them doing a choice of 3 bronze/silver/golds for a better evolution card then for 200 stars doing 3 more cards from dd in previous years. That’d be cool

SDS would never make joe carter a boss, that’s ridiculous, he wasn’t good enough.

    Oh wait...
    Oh no...

    These truly are dark times.

Wasn't it official? Could be 200 star reward?

From 1991-1993 Joe Carter hit 100 home runs, finished 5th, 3rd and 12th in the MVP voting respectively and won 2 silver sluggers. And of course he helped Toronto to consecutive world series rings, capped of by one of the most iconic home runs ever. I'd say that's certainly good enough for a prime card and early boss, despite the fact that he's not an all-time great.

Last boss is Vet HanRam from 2013. Where he played only 86 games might as well have his clevend card from last year.

Really he should be breakout 2008

Nope 2013 vet 92 overall had his highest batting average that year but only play in 86 games. It should be the 2008 or 2009 version

I just saw the tweet....Big time let down

    I was hoping for 2009
    151 Games
    .342 Batting Avg (Lead League)
    .342/.410./543
    7.4 WAR (Career High)
    148 OPS+ (I love this stat)
and finished #2 in MVP voting (to some dude in St. Louis, who is really good;) )

I saw it on twitter 2013 Vet HanRam 92 diamond

So did I, I edited my post to reflect that.

These 2nd inning bosses leave alot to be desired.
Compared to last year (98 OVR MadBum), it is a big drop off. These 2nd inning bosses will not last long on most teams.

Will they at least have a prestige to a blood diamond version like the first ones?

I’m aware.. but we can’t change/decide that now.. I’m just curious if we’ll be able to grind a better version of the boss we choose or if it’s just gonna be a fire sale as soon you get them.

I'd say that's certainly good enough for a prime card and early boss, despite the fact that he's not an all-time great.

He also only had an average 117 wRC+ during those 3 years, which is nothing special.

His career wRC+ is 102, almost the definition of an average player.

Why all the Joe Carter hate? Are you a Phillies fan?
