Pure analog pitching

I am at a loss with this. Can anybody who is good at pitching give me tips. Not pitch selection just actually getting the darn ball where I'm trying to throw it I've tried so many different ways to gold my thumb, konrol freaks, angling my thumb, pushing, pulling. Noth I ng seems consistent. It seems all that matters is the initial movement?

Use the meter and outfield camera for RHP and pitcher center camera for LHP. meter is way better and camera angle for each side helps alot

I do almost exactly this except I use pitcher zoom for left handed pitchers, it helps so much. I might try it with analog too but meter is working fine for me

Also love using the pitch trail rather than the old fashioned arrows using those camera angles really allows you to see where you’re actually throwing a pitch and the break it has on it

I use those mainly because I feel I get better timing on the meter using those angles but what u said about seeing the break on the ball is so true. I use the trail as well.

I believe the inconsistencies are within the gameplay itself. Even with pitch location and then getting perfect meter, at times the pitch will still go outside of where you located it, or even worse right down the middle of the plate.
I know that SDS has attempted to address this issue in one of their more recent updated patches related to control over pitch location; and mentioned how certain attributes will still play a part; however, whatever changes they may have made, I feel weren't significant enough because there are still a lot of complaints about pitching and it feels the same...like, nothing was done at all.

I personally think analog pitching is bugged. I use it and sometimes the pitch will go the opposite side of where I want it and i will look down at my analog stick positioning and its aiming to the opposite side of where the pitch went. It's almost like SDS is controlling it sometimes and the pitch goes where they want it to. It's really weird

I used to do this but I have gone back to the arrows, the pitch trail break seems off, I believe Skepple said something to this effect too.

Let me know if you figure it out. I have tried analog, pulse and meter and ball just goes to the middle. So bad so I have stopped playing RS. Trying to get to 100 event wins and don't care about my record there.

wait, so you switch your view for different handed batters?

Didn't know that was possible.
I actually use Classic. It's inconsistent as heck, but it's my preference. -
Well, meter is straight a$$ too. 3 pitches good release and not one strike although I put it in the strike zone. Game is just not fun on either side. Another 20 pitches down the middle though.

I just got to 700 for RS and noticed a huge difference my pitchers seemed to be all over and it was kinda shaky so I can see what you mean yeah. It’s so hit or miss

I actually use Classic. It's inconsistent as heck, but it's my preference. No you don’t switch for each batter you switch depending on what handedness your pitcher is. It just seems to be easier to follow the pitch path with a lefty from pitch center rather then the traditional broadcast angle where you can tend to hang pitches or miss over the middle more
