I’m absolutely sick of computer generated and user generated pitchers having slower two seams, change ups and two seamers. It simply just doesn’t make sense. It seems it’s been this way for a long time, but asking to able to throw a sinker at a 95 average instead of 94 is not a big ask. Same goes for a change up. Why can’t we throw a simple 88 mph change up? It makes no sense when you can throw a 102 four seam. I’ve been playing for half a decade now and every game has been like this. Pitching progression seems to never save once you get to attribute level 40 when it comes to stuff (velocity, control, break) as well as some other stats but not your per /9 stats or any stats as a batter\fielder. Seems weird and kind of caps how good your pitcher can truly be. Lastly in this rant, I miss the realise of the old gen games that disappeared when the player program came out. I totally get that part of it is that a majority of players love to break the game, and it’s truly really fun, I just wish we had settings or options to make it more realistic (earning a closer role rather than being the automatic one, getting demoted to the bullpen if you play bad, coming off the bench if you’re a backup player or DHing if there’s a player on your team with better defensive stats. All this stuff used to be in the game or is something I could probably pay the local game designer student at a community college $30 to fix. They aren’t big changes, and it’s something SDS should be doing better.

Whether it's a glitch or a designed progression cap, one thing I've noticed when it comes to getting to the next point for something like Velocity is getting it to the edge of leveling up (either by finishing a game just ahead of an open training day with only a sliver of xp needed to bump up, or hitting a training session that leaves it just as close just before your next game on the mound) and doing a training session or playing your next game on the mound will level it up. I'm into May of 2027 with my SP/RF Two-way player and have her 4SFB Velocity at 46 doing just what I described.

When I bat, no matter what happens after contact, my stat goes up. Long fly ball caught on the track? ++ to Power, same as a home run.
When I pitch, I only get credit if it's a swing & miss or looked at pitch. Even foul balls "don't count" to stat progression.

Dangit, if I'm painting the corners all game (for control), I should be "seeing results" from being there, whether the ball is fouled off or not. Not have my results on the mound "ignored' due to CPU choice but the CPU actions having no issues with the batter.
