Anyone else tired of the CPU constantly spamming pickoffs?

It's like, when you're on base, you can't even take your finger off L2 (ZL if you're on Switch) for a split second without being picked off!!!!

If you want to steal against cpu right when the pitcher looks over at the runner, highlight that runner and hold R2 (PlayStation) and while holding r2 push L1 and L2. After pushing L2 release R2 and he won’t throw over and you can steal mostly every time

Frankly, having played RTTS and Franchise in MLB 25 quite a lot, I'm not seeing unusual amounts of pickoff attempts. Certainly not seeing the extremes you are describing.
