Disappointing cards

Anyone who isn’t a huge Gwynn fan and is old enough to have watched him play should not consider themself a baseball fan.
I get that the card isn’t as great as some although 125/125 contact, 125 clutch 95/99 speed and steal and Diamond defense isn’t exactly a bad card.
Oh I'm old enough to remember him. And I respected him. Just not a huge fan. Boggs was my guy back then for high contact hitters.
And the 99 Gwynn isn't bad, you're right. It just came out at the wrong time.
There's no way he touches other OF I have like Duran, Bernie, Soto, Griffey, Ruth etc.

People don't appreciate defense in this game, having Gywnn in right for me has saved many of runs. Speed, high contact and good defense is gold, especially in the OF.

That 95 Tony Gwynn card from his program. Even at Costco Field, he was a lazy fly ball out machine!!
Literally the worst card above 90 I've ever used.
And to think it was all for a 99 Gwynn.
At this stage of the game if a 99 Gwynn is on your main squad (or really any squad), you either:
A. Just started Season 2 (and if this is the case I would complete every other program before Gwynn)
B. Are a huge Gwynn/Padres fan (so maybe 1% of the player base?)
To sum up, you had to use a horrifically terrible card to get a very mediocre one.
THIS was the worst program by far. I hear a lot of people complaining about the Moments of Glory program but at least it has decent/very good rewards.
Please don’t tell me you guys are using power swing on Gwynn

You don't like hitting what sounds to be a 600 ft homer only to watch it pop up to second?
yeah,me too.
They're called perfect/perfects

@soonermagic78_XBL I agree I have the Josh Gibson card and for 125 power it is one of the worst power cards not a fan

typically for me, cards with 125ish CON but 90ish POW hit much better than cards with 90ish CON but 125 POW. Now if it's like Luis Arraez and Tony Gwynn where they have very high CON but below 80ish POW then it's like hitting a hard ball with a wiffle bat.
