I'm at 50 points with the pitching moments, comeback against the Mets, 3 runs against Percival, and 2 home runs with Mays, and the All Star 3 inning game left
I think you meant McCovey for the 2 hrs, right? That moment was the worst of all for me. I just kept hitting doubles deep into the alley.
I did, my bad. Going to try that one again when i get home. Hopefully i have mlre patience then last night and can lay off the many balls thrown by the CPU

I also am not a good hitter and enjoy the grinding of conquest maps to complete program missions so this all moments program I don't like. How am I supposed to complete some of these if I can't even hit the ball well and plus can't hit a homerun to save my life even using directional so I got to 40 points but that's about it. Also tried doing the play a game on All Star vs the all action figure lineup and realized that I can't hit on all star that's why I constantly play on Veteran
You're gonna be in for a treat with the moonshot program on Friday lol. I think it was the moonshot program in 22 where it was just 50 HRs with lefties, 50 HRs with Rightites, 25 HRs with switch hitters, 15 HRs with guys under 6 feet tall etc lol
Believe it or not I can hit homeruns fine in play vs CPU or mini seasons or conquest just not in moments

@samguenther1987_PSN These are hardly extreme. All but 1 are on veteran and most of them are easy. Oddly enough, I had the most issues with the moment against Percival. I finished them all in about an hour and a half. I’m not a top player. I’ve never even made World Series. Pretty easy for a free 99 Yordan that isn’t slow. Too easy IMO.
-
I would ALMOST prefer moments on all-star than veteran. Veteran difficulty is harder than all-star for me. I think offline content for the most part should be casual and God mode. Everything should be rookie and easy mode. This entire year offline content has been like the person responsible for the extreme program doing all offline content , designing it for the extreme program and nerfing it just a little.

@virusts_XBL How long did all of that take? 5-6 hours? More? Seems like a lot of gaming time to me.
-
@TripleH-4481_PSN Internet tough guy? again being overly dramatic are we? Sorry that i told you the truth and it hurts cause its true. That doesnt make me an "internet tough guy". Just a realist. maybe you should do some research on what that term means.

Too easy? Can’t say I agree

The only thing I can complain about is that I wish Alvarez was a core card. Stinks to grind these hard(er) moments and only have him for a couple of weeks.
If we’re naming the hardest moment it was definitely McCovey lol.
-
Should have option to buy stars with stubs to complete some of these. Had to take break for mental and physical health my thumbs are numb from hitting over and over yesterday and huge letdown thinking pitching all that’s left would be easy. The Vida Blue 5ks or 6ks 3 innings no hits keeps gettin me and don’t know how will get Scherzer 5ks two innings. Let down cause really want that card especially his live card weakened
-
Got McCovey done this evening, only Percival left to go now. I'll get it eventually. This isn't the worst program by a fair stretch, some of it like the Stanton home run were pretty fun actually.
At least we don't have to do showdown for this program

About 2 hours (thank you @Willie :)), which is really perfect. Did I mention, that this is an awesome program ?

For those that beat Percival, how did you do it? I need some tips because i can't even make contact his pitches are so fast.

Put Milestone Gwynn, AF Raines, and AS Elly as your first three batters and drag bunt with all 3.
Then have HOF Griffey, HOF Chipper, and AF Stanton as your 4, 5, and 6th hitter.
You should be able to score enough runs to either tie it and send it to extras or to take the lead and close it out.
-
@samguenther1987_PSN I just loaded up on the 99s that I hit best with. Once I had the tying run on with a slow runner, I pinch ran AF Raines to make sure I would get the run in on a single after I stole 2nd. Play to tie the game and win in extras.
-
Used lefties and switch hitters I mash with (i.e. Duran, Soto, Posada, Chipper Jones), hit tanks.

Because I hadn't faced him before(maybe in MS season 1,but that was awhile ago) I had the same experience.i used the attempts as practice, to get used to not only the velo but how and where the pitches move, after about 5-10 attempts my first 3 batters do ok to fairly well against him,I've gotten him to 2 runs a bunch of times but the 4 and 5 hitters are now going through it,but soon will have them too and complete then( took a break and working TA so still on this one)

Pretty much what other guys said. Put speed in the top 3 good vision and power after. If you don't put the first 2 batters on, restart. That's how I did it.
-
Lol...so if anyone read earlier McCovey took me FOREVER. Easily over an hour and a half to hit 2 HR on Veteran with a 99 power hitter. Hundreds of pitches.
I'm now doing a conquest game on veteran with players lower than McCovey. I've hit 4 hr with the first six batters on a total 11 pitches.
SDS do not tell us Veteran in moments is the same Veteran in all modes.
-
@Ledfoot_19_PSN Same for me on the McCovey. I don't think any moment took me for than 4 or 5 tries, but this one took me at least 2 hrs. The frustrating part was I hit a homer in his first AB probably at least 20-25 times and could not hit the second one. I think there was twice that I just pulled what would have been the second homer foul and another time I thought I had gotten a hold of one, only to have it hit off the top of the wall in right field. Eventually I got it but it was the perfect storm of a swing I don't like, paired with a release and arm slot that I have always had trouble picking up with King, in a ballpark that isn't great for homerun power.
-
@YOSHI24_MLBTS No dude. Go back and look carefully at the post I was replying to. I wasn't just talking about the Moments. I was asking about time spent for him/her doing Moments, Conquest, and Ranked games. Definitely NOT 2 hrs.
