They might, but they are going to have no issues getting people to play with this drop being as massive as it is. They might do it, but I wouldn't be shocked if they used Double XP/Flash Sale/Some other announcement to pull people in again after this week.

People who are disgruntled with this game, like streamers waiting for NCAA 25, will not be pacified by the ASG drop. They are not getting enough updates to make consistent content and will move on until the next big MLBTS content drop comes out. People watching them will also move. This will have an impact. Not sure how much Double XP changes that, but I see no harm in it and would like if they did it. I think the main reason they will not do it is because there will be a ton of XP by hitting milestones like the Other Program path they will put out for the ASG content. I think we will see a 100k+ bonus XP.
