Hot take: NCAA Football 14 will be better than College Football 25.

I am torn between giving them credit for doing what they should’ve done all year, and shaming them for waiting until literally the week before NCAA football comes out to release actual good content.
Right now in the game there are no overalls higher than a 95 earnable for free, unless BR and/or WS rewards are that high. And the one 95 I’m thinking of is the lightning player, everything else is like a 93 or lower. I don’t know, I’ve barely played the game since S2 started.
So it looks like they’re now adding 99s for free (at least one?), 95s in TA, and adding basically free missions that give thousands of TA points. I think I’m still too burnt out from the awful grinding of the first two months to even come back for free 99s.

Good - That drop looks very promising
Bad - The 4-5 weeks preceding the AS content has been horrible. By choice. -
@Skarmaen_MLBTS yeah this is the part I don’t understand. Cards in packs aren’t even good, how anyone was able to get themselves to grind that first chapter of TA for 89s is beyond me. Feels like they could’ve held off on the good stuff until this week without making their game unplayable for a month leading up to it

Also that 70+ card number includes 30 TA and who knows how may packs.
The drop looks fine, but Ive stopped playing and not 100% sure ill come back. The intriguing thing is the collection, if this essentially is a new way of doing programs it could work out.

Its a shame Philly fans bailed out SDS by voting Turner into the all star game. It kept Lindor from being the mets representative (although Wynn has a strong case too for a SS spot), and with the TA cards being 95s and Lindor being the exact same player he was last year they would have had a TA card that was essentially a current chase card.

I am fair and when I see them do something good I will praise them and vice versa but without seeing it my first reaction is -- get some stubs to buy the packs and / or cards but also looks good too. Maybe this outside of the monthly awards garbage they are learning they can try and sell us packs along with EARNING them too.
Without seeing the program I give it a grade ( for now ) of B plus -- can go up or down once I see it

The way they handled the ASG/HRD/Draft packs was fine last year, hopefully its the same this year.
There were a few ways to earn those packs ad the rare choice is nice -
Not looking forward to another Shota card. Does not play well for me online at all. His live series is really bad

I feel like almost every pre patch post about new content is "this looks good!" "HUUGE drop coming!" Then we come back a day later and it's "These cards suck." "IDK why sds can't drop actual content."

This is the first interesting looking drop all season.
Tying a lot of things into a focused collection is interesting, and I love the idea of a repeatable conquest (they did this in one of the past years)Giving a round of easily completable missions to start TA with is also a nice change, although get 1 K with a braves pitcher is kind of comical. But without minions its been far too long to get the initial TA card so being able to do it faster is huge even if the post card 1 grind ends up slower.
I worry that after the next 2 weeks they go back to 4 card programs every other week

Friday is the 1st day I'll be able to play in a week, going this long without playing is torture for me but I knew what I signed up for when I went on a 2 week vacation with my family

I hope the entire ta grind is quicker just like the early grind to the first card

I must admit I'm excited for the All Star Week Content this Friday. Season 2 hasn't been that great at all and the wildcard spot has annoyed me so much lol. I just hope that they decide to give us double XP this weekend as well.

The wildcard not counting toward PXP or any stats toward any Season 2 program is terrible. Season 2 eligible players should include wildcards since they can be on a valid Season 2 lineup.
