Two-way players will no longer pitch at all

In May and July of their first year, two-way players have the opportunity to review their roles as pitchers and fielders with the manager and in the office, but if they change to (fielder position)/"RP" midway through, they may not be given any opportunities to pitch in the future. Have you had the same experience as me?
