Can someone please help?
I am not a terrible picture. Can someone please teach me how to be a great pitcher in this game?
I don’t really understand tunneling and what pitch to throw at what situation I’m a pretty decent hitter and that’s taken me to the division series and I’d like to go past that.
Also, any tips to laying off inside cutters and inside sinkers would be fantastic
I play on PlayStation if anyone would be willing to 1V1 me And maybe tell me what I’m doing wrong or things that I need to keep doing to make me better would be great. Please help me. -
There are some streamers who have tutorials on YouTube you could start with. It could definitely help

Ah man, I thought this was a post asking for tips how to beat this [censored] Jake Irvin 3 ks in one inning moment. I can get the first two pretty easily but as soon as I get to future hall of famer Michael Toglia it's a wrap. Best contact hitter in the game! His bat does not miss the ball ever! lol
Frustrating as can be I tell ya

This is different from everyone. When you pitch an at bat, what do you usually throw? Are most of the pitches inside the strike zone? Or are you mixing good pitches with chase pitches? So we can get an idea of how you are throwing.“ > I don’t really understand tunneling and what pitch to throw at what situation I’m a pretty decent hitter and that’s taken me to the division series and I’d like to go past that.”
***like the others have said, YouTube has some great videos on how to properly tunnel pitches which is what I’ve watched to learn. For example: some people lately have been trying to throw a high curveball at the top of the zone, and then follow it up with either a fastball high or whatever pitch they have to make it look similar to that last curve.
It’s not the best tunnel but if you throw a 12-6 curveball where it’s the middle of the zone, it’ll drop below the plate. It’s really effective since when it’s coming in, your eyes pick up a ball that is identical to a 4 seam since it’s coming about chest level and your brain thinks it’s a fastball because it doesn’t drop until after you swing lol
It’s easy to learn, go to custom practice and pitch. Use a 4 seam and let’s say a sinker.
Throw some 4seams up and in on the strike zone while watching the ball leave the pitchers hand and where it ends. Next to tunnel that with a sinker, throw the sinker middle to high inside where the ball is just inside the the strike zone and throw it a few times.
The fastball we know won’t move at all but when you pitch the sinker, high and in, the batter will see the same ball position for both pitches but the sinker breaks to the pitchers throwing hand at the last second. YouTube explains it better lol“> Also, any tips to laying off inside cutters and inside sinkers would be fantastic“
This is harder because I’m not sure what batting interface you’re using but with zone, if I’m facing a sinker and cutter pitcher, I’ll anchor my pci middle left for righties and middle right for lefties. It helps me be near that tunnel spot so I barely have to move my pci. Cutters inside for opposite handed batters are a little rough because it’s like the slider inside. You should let those go if it’s a strike or not unless two strikes because the inside sinker and cutter should break just outside the zone which is why it looks soo good to hit but more times than not you’ll swing at ball four or anything.
Sorry for the novel but if you add me I’ll help you for as long as you want until you feel comfortable. I’ve watched all the videos on pitch sequences, tunneling, and the different types of pitchers who either pitch to contact(more balls in zone so they let their defense help them.
pitch to miss is what I like throwing. I try to throw everything so that it looks like a good pitch in the zone but I aim to have my pitch land on the corner or away from the plate by a lot.
Ok no more typing lol I’ll send a message to you on here and give you my psn account and I’ll show you everything I know
