MLB the show 21

I hope more people continue to go back to it. If we continue to do that SDS will learn that we don’t like seasons and this content structure that aims to make the game pay to win.

Honestly from a 'never having played it' perspective and only checking out the forever season, 2021 seems pretty mediocre. All the 'innings' are gone, most of the bosses not earnable, and the game seems like 75% moments. 2022 seems better except they removed TA.
2023 is by a gigantic mile the best 'forever' season. Plus 2023 is the most aesthetically pleasing to me outside of the actual gameplay (its their best menu design, the packs themselves look FAR better, etc)
Of course judging the game from a 'forever' standpoint isnt ideal.
But I agree that if you have an old version, go play it instead to get your baseball fix unless you are genuinely enjoying 2024.

Gameplay wise the show 24 is better, content wise 21 clears. Btw, you can’t judge something you didn’t play.
