I've dabbled a bit in Franchise over the past few years, but I think I'm going to start playing it a lot more going forward. What I don't know is where to start.

I like playing the games, so I plan to play every game, like I do in FIFA Career. I also plan to make all the lineup and GM decisions.
I care more about whether a feature works than if it's included in the game. So, while I would enjoy the inclusion of the Rule V Draft, for example, if it doesn't work like it does in real life, I'd be frustrated using it. Fewer features but they all work is more important to me than more features that don't work well.

I own every Show since 20. Which iteration would you say is the best version of Franchise for a hands on player? Or, if I should play them all for a few hours before deciding, how long should I give a version?

Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

In my opinion, the best franchise from The Show 20-24 is this year's game. Even though the mode can be greatly improved, it has a slightly more in depth experience than the previous games mentioned. There is advanced scouting and drafting, a more realistic trade system, actual minor league rosters, and things like that. You'll notice other unique features as you move along through the franchise like creating custom injuries. You also have slightly more control over things. Hope that helps. 🙏

I agree completely. While neither RTTS nor Franchise is without issues that should be corrected, both are at their zenith with MLB 24. There are less bugs in both the menu selection steps as well as the game code execution.
