I love the feature of having an inconsistent strike zone from the umpires. It’s so frustrating sometimes but is such a realistic and awesome feature.
The announcers will talk about the umpires strike zone and personality around the top half of the second inning… it’s such a cool addition I hope stays in the game. But has anyone else realized the broadcasters are always… and I mean always 180 degrees off of what they say??
They may talk about how this umpire “gives a little on the corners” “he is a pitchers umpire”, but then the umpire is completely the opposite throughout the entire game. He will not give any extra off the corners and even sometimes doesn’t call a strike on a pitch completely in the strike zone on the corner lol.
I have never seen a personality match the description of the announcers lol. Its not a big deal but its a funny but stupid mistake lol
