Are any of the following high diamond pitchers worth the price?
-
Scherer
deGrom
Cole
Verlander -
Not really, I've used all but Verlander, (mostly in events). It's the collections that make them so expensive, comparatively, they aren't "worth" the price. But If you're eventually planning on doing the collections, might as well pick them up.

If for using, none of them. Alot of the prospect cards are cheaper and better

Nothing I hate more than higher rated cards that cost twice as much as better, lower rated cards.

I mean for the price of Cole you can have 4 or 5 prospect pitchers another 5 prospect hitters and that gets you Gore, who I personally think is a beast, or you can get Pearson or Mize. If you want the big 3 Collection rewards they are essential which is what makes them so high priced, hopefully we get some high tier pitching cards released in the future to help cut their prices down a bit.

I really like using Scherzer and Gerrit Cole. That said, it all depends on how much you value your Stubs.
That said, you could build an incredible rotation without any high priced starters.

Cole has been very solid for me. 100k solid? No, but I wanted Giambi.
