Why does this game have a habit of tanking any team you touch?
-
You could be in the minors, waiting to be called up to your first place major league club, when you finally get the call up, no matter how good you are at the plate or on the mound, your team starts losing so much that they tank themselves down to last place!! You can lead your team to a 5 spot in an inning only for your bullpen to implode and the other team walks it off with a 6 spot in the bottom of the 9th!! Does it happen in real life? Sure, but not THIS often!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can be traded to a first place team and this same thing will happen!!!!! Rinse and repeat!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm--I had the opposite. I got called up to Cincinnati in June and the Reds were in last almost 20 games under .500 and 15 games out of the wild card. Season ended with us with 84 wins and a wild card spot....I'm currently in Game 6 of the NLCS vs the Dodgers.

@AllRise99_NSW I've seen kind of the same thing when using player lock. As if the AI is going to make you lose if aren't controlling every player on the field. It is definitely annoying.

@BillyBB1133_PSN I’m wondering if there’s any sliders we have to play around with for that
-
@AllRise99_NSW I have messed around with sliders and while some sliders will work to improve the game (AI injury, walks) it seems to do nothing to remedy this problem. It doesn't even matter if you are playing a team like the white Sox, the Marlins or the Rockies. If you sim, you are going to get blown up.
I also started to notice that if you move a great defender like Walker from Arizona, whoever's replacing him will win a gold glove. Doesn't matter if his defense rating is 65... he will win it and Walker will suck at 1st for whoever his new team is. Same with Kiermaier and any other gold glover.
