I don't play online at all and still can field a team of core cards that aren't live series, Captain cards are core, the Derek Jeter cards are core, and the negro leagues are core plus the cards from the Jackie Robinson day program are core and if you finished any of the live series teams then those players are core as well so there is no reason for anyone to say that they can't field a diamond team in season 2 of core cards because there is plenty of them

@Dolenz64 totally agree with you. Definitely had this info blasted on different screens and I SHOULD have seen it. Just wasn’t sure what all it entailed by the time I did pay attention. Figured surely there was no way that was right honestly. Because it’s dumb IN MY OPINION.
It gets annoying that the same people get on everyone’s posts behind a screen name and start throwing shots. This community was a lot better about this forum a few years ago. Guess I just miss the old heads.
I originally bought the game for RTTS. Wasn’t going to get into DD anymore after 22, but ended up right back in the thick of it haha
Throwing shots? Lol.
You immediately resulted to insults towards anyone who pointed out the fact that this info was made readily available to you.

@sbchamps17 I refuse to play offline. I would never play a sports game offline imo those days are gone and unnecessary with today's network capabilities.
Offline is too easy, too quick, too repetitive, and quickly gets boring
The EXACT team you are talking about I've built and it does NOT keep up for [censored] against anyone online.
You make a fair point if I cared to play offline for a competitive game that the dev team focuses more on online experience BY FAR than the offline experience.RTTS hasn't been good since the PS2 by the way. Storylines are literally the worst braindead boring game mode this game has to offer.
The ONLY reason to do storylines is for your collections. -
Well then that's your own problem then because alot of people do both
-
@sbchamps17 Bought a PvP game to play PvP. Not going to use my few hours of time to play on game modes I don't want to play. So again, the good point you make is that I'll be playing more Balders Gate and Fortnite again. It's sad there's not good games or devs anymore.
-
@sbchamps17 And honestly this where I go back to playing exclusively casual. Did that in 23 until they got rid of seasons so yeah. Just not doing ranked again. If casual keeps glitching, like I know it will, I will just get angry, quit the game and play a game that's not riddled with bugs and network issues.
All good reasons to just not play this game. They don't have enough cards and variety in deck builds to be doing seasons. SDS thinks their cards are as diverse as Pokemon Yu-Gi-Oh or magic. They are idiots.
Games that do a season based rotation in their competitive games modes don't come out with new games very [censored] year. They just drop new cards. SDS milks it's player base like [censored] crazy and it's most devout playerbase just LOVES it. -

@sbchamps17 I play ranked 2 hours a night and I don't have enough 85 core cards to fill a team. Not even enough golds to be moderately competitive with the sweats who play this game.
I don't play a lot compared to many and I surprised to see that I have 35 diamond core cards. There are not the greatest or very exciting but they would probably get the job done.
-
@Dolenz64 True but I'm also not good lol so it doesn't help. I'm also not going to say the 80+s are the worst. But I don't like them. I earned players I like and their swings are what I want on my lineup.

@Easy_Duhz_It_ Blah, blah, blah…yap, yap, yap…ALL TALK. You can call me all the names you want from your keyboard. That’s not how I roll. If I have a problem with someone I go directly to them to handle it. That’s why I dm’d you. Because it was between me and you, Was none of these other dudes’ business. But you chose to bring it to the forum because that’s what you do. You love drama & you love to talk…But backing up your talk? Nah, You won’t do that. I miss the way this forum was 10 years ago. Now it’s just been taken over by keyboard warriors that like to stir the pot but won’t do [censored] when called out. I’m done dealing with this soft typing [censored]. I’m out.

@KommanderNKeef9_PSN did you play last year? It's almost the same as last year. Only difference between the two years is that ONLY Core cards carry over, minus WCs, to the next Season.
And that is clearly stated in the menu when you select the S1 box at the top of the game screen.
-
@GoozeFn I know they aren’t gone , but you lose them fully until they open rosters fully.
-
No you don't you can still wild card them
-
@X-FREEZE-OFF-X I didn’t play last year. Quit half way through 22 and got the game this year for RTTS primarily, but found myself hunting that WS banner again haha

There are only four wild cards and you have to unlock all of them. You don't even get to keep a single Season 1 card without jumping through hoops.

Everybody always finds something to complain about. They didn't have to release this program; but people were complaining that they couldn't get enough cards, without buying them off the market, so they release packs into this program. Yes, they're no sellable. But they weren't released to be sold. They were released to get people closer to one, if not two or all three, of the S1 Collection 99s.
If you already had these cards locked in; then that's why you were able to get one of the 99s faster than others.
I did not say a single thing about packs, people unlocking cards faster than others, or anything remotely along those lines. I made a factual statement about the way Wild Cards work. You can take it as a complaint if you want (because I have no problem with that), but my comment was nothing more than stating how Wild Cards work.

Then don't play again until season 4 when your able to use all the cards again
