Are 90% of hits home runs on ranked???
-
I’ve started playing more ranked games recently since I got my Dodgers theme team together. I’m like 17-10, so I’m a**, but it’s like every hit is a homerun for me and my opponent.
Early, late, low and away, 60 hit power, don’t matter; it’s leaving… even in normal stadiums. Is this for everyone or just me? Seems like ranked should be way less “arcadey” than it is.

Not even close. I actually score the majority of my runs on singles up the middle with a runner on second.

some games yes. I just played one earlier that had like 10 hrs for the 12 runs scored. some are more regular with hits and base running mistakes. some are like 2 hitters. I run into the high HR and low offense scenarios the most, but the regular ones are most fun.

@TossGawd yes absolutely but that’s the game as a whole the way they have the outfield set they sit basically on the warning track so doubles rarely happen, or you hit it right at someone so homers which are just luck is all we get. The lack of hits coded into the game is shameful most of them are coded to go right at a defender regardless of input. Hitting as been broken for years yet nothing is going to change because people still defend SDS.

I'm currently bouncing around in allstar purgatory and it's absolutely nauseating. The good ole 1 step forward 2 steps back method...rinse and repeat. Every other game does feel like a HR hitting contest too. It's always extremely high exit velocity blasts or wall scrapers barely sneaking out.

I played someone who hit a two run homer with Wade Boggs. I won 3-2.
Sometimes a bad pitch location ends up in the seats. It happens. Also don't be predictable.

I think it’s more like 50% homeruns, 50% double plays

The amount of bad swings for HR are what makes the game feeel like trash

My created stadium with dimensions of 330 400 330 and 100 ft elevation plays like a tiny high elevation stadium . Home runs like crazy . I wanted a more realistic game play . Oh well ️
