Ohtani and Buxton boost?

I have Ohtani in at RF, his vision says 59 but he doesnt show as as boosted. Any ideas, I thought maybe because he is listed as a pitcher.

Yes, the live series. So it isnt showing it counts, but if he is starting in the field does it boost or not?

Doesn't boost as his primary position is an SP.
