Pitching to CPU
-
I using analog and sometimes pin point pitching. I pitch on legend and the cpu can not hit when I use analog or pin point. It seems like they only get hits or runs when I use classic, meter or pulse. By the way I am not that great with pitching either.
I have the Cardinals and their bullpen sucks. I shouldn't be able to shut out the Dodgers 4 games in a roll.
Anybody else have this issue? I may have to go look for some realistic settings.

Are you playing on hall of fame or legend? Sounds like you're difficulty is too low.
Sorry I see you said legend but I don't get this experience playing hall of fame or legend. You're just good lol idk -
@AdeptOfMemory lol i am really not that great. I think the pinpoint and analog pitching isnt realistic. No matter what, if you get the meter right every time or close to it, the game rewards you. So you can have a low rated pitcher and pitch lights out every game.
Hitting on legend is a little different. You can have a perfect hit and still get an out.

@IamaAlien85 I get the perfects often enough but I don't have quite that experience. It's much tougher to hit for sure and I ground out and pop out against CPU far more on HOF and legend. For pitching it feels faster or I have to be more precise on timing. I use pinpoint too as it gives the least RNG when the ball is released from the pitchers hand.
I play like 75% online and only do CPU stuff when I need to get points for something.
I also only play CPU stuff on HOF or legend so I don't really know how the other difficulties play out. The issue I have is batting against CPU. It's either I get the perfect perfects and hit the homeruns or they are sub par contact and they ground out or pop out. The cpu rarely hits a HR on me but they do get a few base hits and I've lost conquest games for sure from base hits.
You might just be getting the right pitches through each time. Since there is no player influence on the game the CPU might just read your perfects as they should, perfect. That's how you win. -
