Down 4-3 in the 9th I hit a 78 mph basehit to left field with acuna at 2nd 85 speed, he went as soon as it wa[censored], the LF didn’t even play the ball cleanly and still got thrown out at home. Please explain SDS?

The throw power versus baserunner speed dynamic is way off. IMO, it has been the past two years. I've just gotten used to it. I had a play the other day where a deep flyout almost to the warning track in center and my runner from 3rd (Granderson I think it was) was nearly thrown out at the plate with the ball going through the cutoff man. It was a play that IRL, that deep in the OF, the team wouldn't even try to gun him at home.

I agree - I just don’t see the point of having a runner IN SCORING POSITION - this was NOT a 105 MPH line drive that I went home on, it was a weak oppo field hit that got to the LF in his position ( not charged ) the LF literally bobbled it into his glove
