Nah, I think a better solution is to make a card for the different teams he's played .

You can build a lineup with whatever cards you want and call it a theme team...What you're really trying to ask is why can't I use a team Captain to boost a card that isn't for that team. And that's is because if you could do that, there'd be no reason to then seperate the cards by team...you could just say yeah, this guy played 6 games for team A. He can be boosted.

I can't figure out why they put the captains cards so deep into the program. I know that they last all year long but I still don't have the pitcher captain yet so I have not even played much with my preferred theme team.

@Teak2112 how would it be abusing it if he played for the Mets? If they played with a team for a full season why would it matter what team you could put them on?

@JDHalfrack okay and what happens if there’s a card of a player you really enjoyed for your team but they never get a tigers card in my case. Like I loved watching the grandy man and would love him to be on a tigers theme team but he doesn’t always get a tigers card each year. Sometimes it’s a Mets or Yankees card. I think he should be available for all 3 theme teams.

Oddly and I cant believe I am saying this the captain cards boost a lot its just so difficult to get them and so few u can earn Id rather more

You get annoyed, like you are. I’m not saying you don’t have a right to be frustrated, nor am I saying your idea is “stupid“ or anything like that. I just don’t think it makes sense in the context of what the cards are.
