There continues to be no ways to actually make stubs in game
Games cooked
I never had such a lack of interest as I do in this years game
OMG I liked a post from a Mets fan, the baseball gods are gonna be angry with me, I'm keeping the like though.
-
You can still do the mini seasons for vouchers there's just no new missions in it
-
I'm just sitting here staring at this huge conquest map and I don't even want to waste my time. How sds! How do you go from 3 fun conquest 20000 points each to this bullshitt. It's not even worth it.
-
I'm glad I don't try and complete all of the Team affinities.
I am shocked though since I did not pay attention to the Showdowns and apparently chose the extreme one. I could not figure out why they upped the difficulty on everything to Hall of Fame.
But somehow, this offline player whose preference is to play on veteran beat it., but it was close. I think on the next to the last challenge I was down to my last strike, needing one more run and managed to, remarkably, hit a HR.
So I got 10% in every program for that. It also gave me 18 standard packs and 3 unlockable packs for each division (total 18).
Now watch me fail on the normal showdown.

And they also nerfed the points given, at least for the Team missions, from 6K to 4K.
While most of this sucks, they reduced the xp needed from 1.5k to 1k on these at least
-
@DEF266 We all should be rating this game 1 in the playstation store. its working and takes a minute. Not many ways to show how they continue to drop the ball.

Said it in the other thread to, but it appears that they've listened to the community on this one. There were a lot of complaints about there not being anything to do so they gave people more to do. Personally I preferred the first chapter setup because it was so quick to finish, but we can thank the "nothing to do" folks for this one.
What are you talking about? Going from 3 conquest maps to 1 is less to do, not more to do
It increases the grind 3-fold without increasing the satisfaction. Can that not be seen?
We've had our differences; but I cannot agree with you more on this comment and if I was able to use my maximum amount of likes on this, I would.
We have? Probably. But I don't really pay attention to the posters -- just the posts.
My gripes have always been about the game, and I'm glad to lend a like to whoever makes a good point, so happy to see you do the same.
I think the Conquest decision is atrocious, but one thing pulls you towards it over the Mini Seasons -- you get to rack up stats against MLB teams instead of Mini Seasons teams, which is easier. And stats are the way to complete TA.
It's VERY disrespectful players in terms of time-to-value. But that's SDS this year. I think I will go to the Playstation store and downvote it after all.
Devs, you REALLY went to the dark side this year. So sad.

The last TA there were three maps and you 30K for 2 divisions at once.
Now there is one map and you get 4 vouchers worth 11,200K towards 1 division.
So you now have to play that map a total of 18 times instead of 3.
Good thing though is that since it will probably take me at least a month to get to at least the first boss pack; I won't have the time to play BR or Ranked. Besides, I can just wait until the next BR and Ranked programs and buy ALL 4 cards for less than I would pay in BR fees.
Bro, do the showdown first, then all the collections. At 30k, select spring breakout 1, hope for Skenes. Whatever u get, sell. Then work on the rest if u have enough stubs.
You'll get back packs and can make at least half your money back.
I'm at 51% on everything just by doing the collections, the Dibble showdown once, the voucher showdown once and a cpl games in conquest. When doing conquest, I recommend u use a pitcher. Get the 10k's, and fill your roster with chapter 1 and 2 boss cards and go heavy on divisions.
I'm playing al east rn, I have mainly a Yankee lineup with all AL east bosses.

Mini Seasons you get to pick the park when you are home, and you also get to hit in places like Lichtenstein and Korea. I think that makes up for better pitchers.
And the packs are nice
At the very least there should be a repeatable 20 pack reward for completing the full conquest map. But now the only way to do it is win 5 games, then restart before the maps get too busy. Safe to say I will never touch this again
vs CPU is better than conquest really

Isn't it expensive to do the collections? And I thought umi heard thst the pack at 30k was No-Sell?
-
It is no sell

I don’t get you guys sometimes…One minute people are screaming about players being in packs only, Then when they release TA2 all I hear is whining about the grind…Maybe this just isn’t the game mode for you then. Seriously, If you don’t want to spend stubs on players or grind for players then why are you playing DD? You might be happier playing a different mode & there’s nothing wrong with that.

You’re missing the point of every compliant if this is your take, either deliberately or out of idiocy.

Put buy orders on 80 rated cards.
Think u need about 22 for the 150k collection that rewards 30k xp.
That should cost around 10k
Once u do that, open the spring breakout pack 1 pack. If u hit Skenes, you just profited 10k. I hit the rare round twice out of 6 times.
And THEY ARE SELLABLE! SDS either messed up or they were meant to be sellable.
If u get the 87's, sell the most expensive for around 4k. Also, open all the other packs and sell those.
Then work on the 100k, 50k, 20k, etc.
You'll be close to boss pack 2.Also, do the ((Dibble)) Showdown. It's only once. I beat it first try. And u earn 20k TA points for all divisions!
I also did the Voucher Showdown once. U get 4 vouchers for 11,200 TA points. As for the extreme moments, I did the Dominguez Homerun one, Eddie mathews xbh one, and Verlander pitching one.
Then go to conquest.
Make sure u choose a boss SP. I took Verlander first. Also I'm Seasawing Verlander and Abel. You need 10k's, and it's repeatable.
Keep track of the k's. When the pitcher u choose hits 10k's, bring in another boss pitcher.Right now I have Verlander, Abel, Richard, Kenley, and Dibble.
On regards to boss hitters, I have Dominguez, E Mathews, Khrsted, and E Rodriguez in the lineup. Since AL East doesn't have boss pitchers, I stacked my lineup with yankees, and ALE Chapter 1-2 bosses.
So I'm basically grinding AL Central with Verlander k's for 10k every other game, and throwing in Abel once Verlander gets 10k's.
And progressing AL East with all my hitters. It's gonna be much easier to complete.

Yep, bottom line is the same people are going to complain literally every single time no matter what they do with the game. Some people just have to be outraged at all times.
-
It’s only a tiny fraction of the fan base complaining. It’s the same names over and over again. Crying about this and crying about that. My goodness enough already… it’s only a freaking video game. It’s mind blowing how they even managed to make it this far in the real world. If you don’t like the game then move on. Go touch grass or something… do something productive.

@x814xmafia I finished both the extreme and the normal this morning to only get 4 vouchers

@x814 Mafia
Bleh, that sucks. He was 22k when I jumped at doing the 30,000 ta xp for each team after I saw the packs were tradeable.
