Red Sox legends are severely lacking. And we're not even talking about lesser known players here:
Ted Williams - no
Yaz - no
Pedro - yes
Big Papi - yes
Clemens - no
Manny Ramirez - no
Jim Rice - yes (but worst swing in the game which saddens me since he was my fave growing up and he's unusable)
Dwight Evans - no
Carlton Fisk - no
Wade Biggs and Cy Young - yes (but often in other uniforms)
Pedroia - no
Papelbon - no
Varitek - no
Nomar - no
Luis Tiant - no
Fred Lynn - no -
I loved this thread, I could have kept going on and on. Did devs or anyone at SDS ever ackowledge or comment on this stuff? Still think just one version of older players is good enough especially if you have a ton of older players, give me my 74 bronze Cory Snyder and Greg Swindell lol
-
@BigBadBosc44_PSN Yes they announced it on their Twitter. Everyone of these players is gonna be in the game next year.
-
I know everyone says it'll never happen, but I'd love to see Barry Bonds. We got Sosa and McGwire. I'd hope that something can be worked out.
-
Bonds didn't even go for it even before steroids though. He's never wanted his name and likeness used.
More realistic possibilities include Manny and Clemens. Would LOVE Manny.
-
Also who decides how many of a player gets released? ie only 2 ozzie smith cards but 7 versions of other cards? Let us vote on that? lol

Just understand that he's NEVER going to be in the game because he left the play association when he was playing and he doesn't want his name to be used so it doesn't matter how much SDS can offer him it won't ever happen
