Let's get back to basics when it comes to RTTS. Firstly, lets bring back a longer time to make it to The Show. At least a season and a half in Rookie Ball. Yep... Rookie Ball. Starting in Rookie Ball is the proper way of playing the game. Plus it would allow those new to to the game of MLB The Show and baseball in general know the true pathing to get to the Big Leagues. From RB to Low & High A for a full season between the two. Full Season in AA & AAA with the second season in AAA being called up MLB and sent down back to AAA depending on the team needs and your play. Sim to Next Appearance will make this quick because you all did this ( or something similar back The Show 07-09).

Secondly, speaking of Sim Appearance, when it comes to fielding (especially at 2B this season) please add in more than ground balls. Where are the flyball and catching line drives? What about tagging out the runner on a steal attempt? Yes the showtime dive catches and tag outs at home are cool, but add more to the positions.

Thirdly, on positions, please bring back secondary positions. Not everyone wants to play two-way player and not all teams need you to play one position. We saw right before the current 2024 season, the Dodgers moved Mookie Betts from RF to 2B to SS. Why can't our players have multiple positions like they did years ago? What if during your Rookie Ball, Low A to AAA campaign you're traded to another team that already has a stud in that position. We should have secondary positions ready to help the team in anyway. Same example is Bryce Harper moving from RF to 1B. make it more realistic.

Lastly, take a slight page from NBA2K's book. make the story line a bit more realistic. Allow us to pick brand deals (bats, glove, cleats, etc.) to that still add to the attributes we want. If we do not perform then those brands can cancel our deals or we can ship for another while with a brand if we like those attribute better.

I appreciate the game. I and we know Diamond Dynasty is the cash cow, but for those of us who enjoy RTTS lets make it more to be the best Created player mode in all sports games.
