Chase Packs and the shop
-
Opening a Chase pack and getting a gold card is discouraging beyond words. Last year you heard the community didn't like this and got rid of it. Why bring it back? I play another game called Bauldur's Gate 3. When recently receiving the Game of the Year award, the head of that studio gave a speech aimed at game developers and studios falling into the trap of chasing greed. I wish you would look up his words and take them to heart. There was a time not too long ago when in this wonderful game you could earn all the best cards and fill out all collections by simply playing the game. Not buy them in the shop and hope you get lucky. Now even the xp has been nerfed. Will that be for sale in the shop next? With best regards, One disappointed Customer

completely agree, not all of us get payed through youtube and have time to play 24/7 just to be able to afford or pull 1 good diamond.

Season one last year had golds in it as well.

Last year got extreme backlash, especially early on. Copying that strategy into 24 is a bad move no matter how you spin it. SDS has alienated a large portion of their player base and pulling cheap and unrewarding moves based purely on greed isn’t a good look. Bottom line is chase packs should have always been at least a diamond and going back just because last year did it early is a terrible excuse.

I remember the days of finishing a collection and even being able to quick sell the cards...lol...man are we headed in the wrong direction

The Chase packs were about the only incentive to purchase big boxes. I think I had 4-5 in a row early on that were golds. I won’t buy any more boxes. The odds seem worse this year for diamonds in general. I also still believe that most of these sports game companies have algorithms that come into play when opening packs beyond the stated odds. It should be against some kind of laws for there to be any consideration of what I already have, how long I’ve played, or how much money I’ve spent. If I’m wrong about those algorithms, I’ll stand corrected but I’ve played and spent enough money on all the sports games to have a good feel for the hoodoo.
