Ho Hum...

I get it because I hit a wall midway through last year. After four years of dedicated grinding, the relentless TA model made me call it quits in August.
Maybe just try to focus on what you enjoy about the game whether it be a specific task or something that doesn't feel like homework. For me as a Yankees fan, I just want to build the ultimate Yankees team this year so that is my mission. Don't have to grind everything to completion and can just focus on the cards I want. Of course they dangled a 99 Andy Pettitte out the gate so I am committed to getting that card, but I've enjoyed being more casual about things. Makes it more fun and way more attainable especially if you don't have tons of time to grind away.
That's a really good approach. I decided to push through March to October today, and I'm beginning to enjoy it with a few games under my belt. And, I don't get upset when a CPU team beats a stacked team of diamonds because I'm playing with a team that is pretty much the same level as the CPU teams.

I felt this way first night when it was released but now almost a week later I am sort of back into the game.
I really like the gameplay advancements this year over the previous years. Yes DD modes have become stale but the gameplay itself makes up for it. Feel like this year the CPU is really playing baseball.

For me, a lot of the fire or desire to play stems from if the real season is going on.
Opening day is this week, and I haven't been into Spring Training that much.
This game has taken me away from NHL, my #1 sports game, though! -
