We Were Bamboozled

The hype around 2-Way players being drafted feel like it was rushed into the game. I'm not complaining about not finding one in about 10 drafts so far, we cannot place a position player on the mound to improve (even with the MLB's blowout rules applied) nor can we take a pitching and train them to hit and I'm not convinced training does anything at all. Ohtani cannot be edited to just be an OF/DH, DH still isn't a "position" to place a player in on their player card and he's completely uninjured which hampers any realism where he is unlikely to pitch in 2024. The injury system that is in there is so neglected why are the injuries split is in such an odd manner for days out, 1-5, 7-12, 35-70 & 180-254 days. Plus players who are supposed to miss a very long time who are hurt late in the season or even postseason and are expected to miss 4+ months are back right as the offseason starts. If SDS claims to test the game internally, they need to ask those of us who constantly play Franchise mode and not rely on casual players of the mode. I've been playing since 2006 and the mode hasn't had anything innovate (imo) that has made the mode appealing.

I preferred Franchise Mode in MLB 23. Except for the fact that MLB 23 would constantly freeze and unless you saved the game at different points you would lose the entire game you had reached in the game and start all over. This complaint was made over and over but no action was ever taken to correct this situation. Still I feel it is a much better game than MLB 24 and will continue to play 23 instead of MLB 24.
