I know they have a 98 version for collecting the NL, which is a Montreal Expos card, but I like using him on my Red Sox theme team and I like it where they're actually from that team.
Anyone think they'll eventually come out with a 99 version?

Yup by the end of the year almost all of your favorite hall of famers that are in the game will have a 99 along the way im sure they will drop a 92 or 94 ovr all star card or postseason card most likely for him to he is popular
