@CharmCityGamer-0 1 in a million. Go buy a lottery ticket.
-
I can’t even write a post on the forums because I “don’t have 3 characters” holy moly get it together please.
-
I can complete 3/4 TA moments in DD for each division. I was able to play vs CPU, (but very glitchy, I had to choose a specific team / stadium / home or away...
NGL & Jeter storylines complete with no issues. Planning to just wait it out while collecting TA points in MTO & XP grind on RTTS -
@demented_daddy I can't play conquest, BR, showdown...
But the paid 500 stub spring breakout showdown, I can play perfectly fine... Buying packs and connecting to eShop .. perfectly fine... this needs to be fixed with compensation -

Hello all. We are aware that Nintendo Switch can crash in DD and working to get it resolved asap.
Will update when we can. Thank you for your patience.
If you’re being told “don’t say anything” you’re getting extremely bad professional advice. That’s definitely not helping this situation one bit. It’s simply making a whole swath of customers question the integrity of what is going on here in addition to the issue at hand.
-
I am able to play rtts but that is it. Every time I go into dd it gets me through the beginner tutorial but then the game crashes.

Unfortunately I have very little confidence in this being fixed by this weekend at all. With Twitch drops going on I’m sure that inexplicably takes precedent over making the game function for switch users. If you watch the Twitch streams every other comment for hours is how do you connect the accounts etc. And if you look at the dev board like the top 8 most recent responses all deal with this issue.

@Victor_SDS Hi, any compensation lined up for this?
-
Don't expect to hear anything from SDS. They stole our money and will continue to treat their customers like mushrooms. Fed poo and kept in the dark.
A truly pathetic, leaderless organization. Shameful.
The very LEAST you can do after robbing your customers is to keep open communication and be transparent.
You know nothing about customer service. Nor do you care. F you.
-
Almost forgot to get on here and express my great disdain for SDS and those who are involved with creating, maintaining this game and customer relations. Any other line of work your incompetence would be rewarded with you being fired. Since we the customers do not seem to have a viable way of communicating with anyone in charge at SDS, for those I expressed my dislike for I truly hope karma is a thing. Everybody else on here, especially Switch users, try and have a good day.
-
Also, I wonder what kind of person or people (SDS) it takes to basically ignore a group of people (Switch players) like they do not deserve an explanation. Wonder how you guys at SDS rationalize your actions, or lack of actions, so that you are not in the wrong and it is everybody else?
-
Dont expect to hear any communication from them, they'll be lucky to have this fixed by May. There's many T-Mobile users who are still unable to play online and SDS has ignored them for a year now.
-
Hey everyone, like all of you I am unable to play ANYTHING in Diamond Dynasty and it’s extremely frustrating. Just wanna let everyone know that I am able to play March to October so I can Atleast contribute to my team affinity programs in the mean time. Hope this gets resolved soon though.
-
If you think you’re going to be compensated you’re going to be extremely disappointed. Last year switch was down for at least a week and we got nothing.
-
@Victor_SDS 4 days have been gone since then and no updates yet
-
I have now reached out to larger gaming publications and asked if they would cover this absolute [censored] show.
-
Thank you for doing this... unfortunately I am not familiar with a lot of the media outlets that would cover this kinda stuff. One question I have been wondering is...was Nintendo Switch working at all during early release? Did they release the game knowing it was unplayable in DD for Switch? I would not be surprised. Just sad and pathetic.

@Knighter went on the IGN website that you had mentioned but could not find a way to contact them. Have you and how did you do so? Thanks.

It really seems that the SDS team just left for the weekend and oh well with this issue. There seems to be basically no customer service for a game based largely on engagement with the player community. There only seem to be 4 devs of all SDS employees listed who are actually involved here anymore, at least only 4 of the 30 have posted anything in the last day or so.
I get that this game may not mean everything to people at SDS, but the business look here is an extremely bad. This is THE PRODUCT that SDS is known for. This launch is the week its players wait for alll year. And it seems that SDS essentially said “oh the Switch doesn’t work, oh well we”ll try to figure that out later”. There’s no dev replies on the subject. There’s no help or bug ticket replies other than automated “we likely won’t contact you” ones for several days at this point. No one isn’t aware of this issue.
As a Switch customer this says a few things to me. 1. The switch platform is clearly less of a priority than even previously thought by most MLBTheShow players. 2. There are clearly no streamers that are valued by SDS that are on the Switch (this is an arena I wanted to jump into but life hasn’t quite allowed that, this makes me realize it’s probably not worth the time). 3. Fixes are not seen as an urgent issue for Switch players. Even when fixes happen like a two week outage last year they still wait till an overnight update and don’t acknowledge there was an issue.
At this point the only thing I can see to do is make this issue known on social media channels so all players are aware as well. Customers who use a switch should also definitely not purchase this game at this time if they haven’t already. It seems that the SDS social media post slowed yesterday with just one all day for the game. I think all Switch Users should be posting on X, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, etc if any official accounts are advertising this game. Currently this is not a fully operational product that is being advertised as a complete and functional game which is categorically false as of now. I hope that changes soon but it does not appear that anything is being done to rectify it. If it were most customers would assume SDS would want us to know that.
