Edit / Acquire Quirks

I have simulated a few seasons in and am noticing that my players aren’t developing quirks. Many of them have high potential, and are playing significantly at their level. I was wondering if you could share how these generated players gain quirks in Franchise?
If they don’t acquire them, it would be extremely worthwhile to let us edit quirks similarly to how we edit ratings. As a longtime franchise player - this feature would definitely go a long way in full edit capability and customization. Thanks!

Players don't acquire quirks and haven't since they've been put into the game in MLB 15 it's senseless for us not to be able to improve any aspect of a players' game. Hit zones stay the same, spray charts stay the same and training has no rhyme or reason as to how it works nor where the +/- come into play.

@raymul313_PSN Are you sure? I could swear one of my drafted players acquired the power hitter quirk in my carryover franchise. I logged into MLB20 but he came and went so I can’t actually say for a certainty.
