Every time I enter an online game it freezes and say waiting for opponent when it goes into a game. Is this a known issue? Is there a fix?

I read something crazy dunno if its true i haven't tried online yet, but try changing out to a different uniforms and try again. I know sounds stupid, but i came across reading that.
