Out Field Throwing

I can’t figure out how to change throwing process. When making a throw in I some times get a strange pop up to press multiple buttons to throw accurately

Which throwing method do you want to use?
Leave the DD menu and then go to the top right and select Settings. Go to the Control / Defense menu and the 4th one down is Throwing Interface. You can select Button, Analog (which it sounds like you're on), or Button Accuracy.

Turn off showtime opportunities.

This is the worst throwing I've seen. Is there a way for throwing to be like in 23? Move the stick an throw with the trigger.

From the main screen-go up and over into settings- gameplay- r1 to control them r2 to you get player lock - the top one is throwing- showtime to have the bullseye throwing style.

When I try that I end up with 5 button presses to throw, not the old right stick and trigger throw. Unless I'm throwing to second, then I get the right stick and trigger throw.

Unfortunately this is the new version of Showtime throwing. You only get the thumbstick option when you're closer to your target.

Can't say I care for the change. Wish they would revert back.
