Old Gen vs New Gen

Is there anyway to disable playing against old Gen? It seems there is constant freezes when playing old Gen consoles. Especially on weak ground balls that go foul.

Best you can do is turn off crossplay. I’m not certain it works for old gen, but it can’t hurt.

How do you know they're on old gen consoles?

@X-FREEZE-OFF-X you can generally tell when you load into a game and even if you watch the pregame it takes awhile for the other player to not have the waiting for notification

I don’t think he can tell. They could just have really slow internet. Right? Disabling crossplay just keeps him from playing the other consoles and load times could be related to their internet.
